This post is copied from Scotty Davis' blog (scottyhdavis.com). He arrived Sunday evening with a Vision Team from Noonday Baptist Association in Marietta, GA. We're excited that they are here, and what God will do through them as well as subsequent groups who will come to Panama as a result of this week.
Our first day of vision team work was tiring and long as we talked a lot, rode a lot, ate a lot and met a lot of people. We have a much better understanding of who the Panamanian people are and what is important or not important to them. We have seen a good many parts of the city and of course met all the team. The above photo is our breakfast meeting with the six International Mission Board missionaries who make up the Urban Panama team. The bottom photos are from the Mall where we walked and watched the people.Mike and Kitty Metzger are getting instruction from Cavin Cawthon about what the strategy and the goals of the team are this week.
