Off to a great start!

WOW!  This has been one amazing (and long) day!  We began our day early this AM with orientation.  We shared with the team about the country of Panama and about what God is doing here in our work.  After orientation, we headed out to attend church at Pedrigal Baptist Church.  This sweet Panamanian church works with the Urban Panama Team in several ministry areas.  They were so welcoming and made the GA group feel right at home.  The youth were able to lead children's church which was a special treat for all of the Panamanian kids!  

After church, we grabbed a bite for lunch and headed out to Santa Fe.  We prayer walked and met some of the people who live in the community of Santa Fe. We played soccer and made balloon animals with the kids. The Tville youth broke out their Spanish words and had lots of fun hanging with the kids in the community. 

Tonight, we were able to host a movie night in the community of Santa Fe.  Several families joined us for the showing and the best part is that several of them are now believers in the Lord!  The gospel was presented and lives were changed!  There were also two families  who have agreed to host Bible studies in their home. This has been a prayer of ours for several months now.  Praise the Lord for an amazing night in Santa Fe!

It is now 11PM and we just grabbed a bite to eat and are headed off to bed.  I am pretty sure everyone here will sleep really good tonight!  First thing in the morning we are headed back to Santa Fe and will be working in the school.  Thank you for praying with us and for us.  We are off to a great start!
